Description

Administration Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations and undertakes a variety of administrative and program management tasks. The Administration Program Coordinator is directly involved in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out operational duties related to all Administration Office programs and activities.
The Program Coordinator must be organized and detail-oriented, and comfortable working with diverse teams and staff.
Responsibilities:
General Administrative Duties
Planning, Assisting and coordinating of administrative programs and its activities, including events delegated by the Chief and Council.
Ensuring implementation of policies and practices including financial and budgetary procedures.
Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
Help build positive relations within the team and external parties.
Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
Prepare paperwork and order materials.
Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Grade 12 diploma with experience.
Knowledge and respect of Kinistin Saulteaux Nations traditions, values and customs, and ability to speak the Nakawe language is a definite asset.
Experience working with First Nations people, with an understanding of family-of-origin issues and their impact on the family and community.
Willing to work flexible hours.
Must have a valid driver license and reliable vehicle.
Must submit to a criminal record check (CPIC) and Vulnerable Sector Check
