BN Steel & Metals is seeking a Class 1A Driver to join our team!

BN Steel & Metals is a locally owned and operated metal recycling facility with locations in Saskatoon, Martensville, Prince Albert, and North Battleford.

The successful applicant will have a valid 1A licence and a safe driving record. Previous excavator experience and current certification is a strong asset.

Job Title: 1A Driver

Reports To: Dispatcher/Sales Manager/President

Job Summary:  
We are seeking a 1A Driver with a clean abstract to pick-up and haul metal in and around the city as well as out-of-town semi hauling.  The ideal candidate is a hard-working individual who is organized, works well alone and under instruction, and puts safety as a priority.  

Key Responsibilities:  
    Utilizing super bs and/or semis to haul and pick-up recyclable metal throughout Saskatchewan
    Daily safety/equipment checks
    Ensures accuracy of completing paperwork to return to main office (drivers daily log, scale tickets, etc)

Requirements:
    Class 1A Driver's Licence
    Steel-toed boots; all other PPE is provided

Qualifications:
    Ability to take direction as required
    Superior communication skills
    Excavator or heavy equipment operating experience is a strong asset
