Job Description: As a member of the PQHR Division management team and a leader in Early Detection, the Manager, is responsible and accountable for the delivery of client care that promotes the well-being of all clients within Early Detection.
The Manager monitors compliance of screening practice standards to ensure high quality of screening is provided to clients. The Manager works in a collaborative manner with other departments within the SCA, SHA, as well as medical staff to ensure quality client screening is provided.
The Manager provides program leadership and direction for staff in Early Detection while supporting and actualizing the goals of the PQHR Division. This team is accountable for keeping abreast of leading edge research in specific areas and translating that knowledge into appropriate screening and applications. Screening areas include: Breast, Colorectal, and Cervical Screening. The Manager will act as the provincial contact with health region laboratory, medical imaging services, Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC), and other partners as required.

Qualifications include a Bachelor degree in Health Care (Masters preferred) or an equivalent combination of applicable education, training and experience; five years supervisory experience and program development and delivery experience.
