Job Description: The Clinical Resource Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through the provision of safe quality nursing care to patients. The Clinical Resource Nurse educates, mentors and supports unit staff, promotes patient safety, occupational health and safety and quality improvement on the units.
Required Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to take initiative
Leadership skills
Organizational skills
Problem solving skills
Time management skills

Required Qualifications Continued: 1. Bachelor Degree in Nursing with minimum 3 years experience in Medical, Surgical, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Emergency. 2. Will consider diploma with minimum 5 years experience in Medical, Surgical, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Emergency and completion of degree within 2 years from commencement date.   The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) requires a criminal record check (CRC) from every potential SHA team member. The CRC must be dated within the past six (6) months and be satisfactory to the SHA. A vulnerable sector check (VSC) is required for individuals providing patient/resident/client care to vulnerable persons.
