Description

Supports the mission, vision and strategic initiatives of the Regina Symphony Orchestra (RSO).
    Ensures, with the MD, that the RSO is an excellent orchestra.
    Develops and executes annual business objectives, approved by the Board, including those in operations, administration and finance.
    Ensures the RSO and its employees understand and adhere to all legal obligations and governance documents of the RSO, including the RSOs Board Policy Manual, the Administrative Handbook of the RSO, and the Collective Agreement with the musicians.
    Advances the educational goals and initiatives of the RSO, including with relevant partners.
    Advances the RSO in the community and acts as one of the senior RSO representatives for fundraising and public relations purposes.
    Advances RSO efforts on reconciliation and on social issues, including diversity, equity and inclusion.
    Performs any other duties reasonably assigned by the Board.
