Description

As the Director of Administration and Admissions, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the school, overseeing admissions and enrollment processes, managing student records, and ensuring compliance with provincial regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase enrollment and improve student experience and retention. As part of your role, you will collaborate closely with our faculty to ensure that our curriculum remains current and aligned with the needs of our students. You will also work towards creating a learning environment that is conducive to optimizing student learning outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in admissions and administration, as well as experience in the education industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the administrative staff, including hiring, training, and performance
evaluations.

Handle all admissions inquiries and process applications in a timely and
efficient manner.

Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment and improve student retention.

Work closely with the faculty to ensure that our curriculum is up-to-date and
relevant to the needs of our students.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall
efficiency and effectiveness of the school.

Ensure compliance with the Ministry of Advanced Education.

Requirements (preferred but not required):

Bachelor's degree in business administration, education, or a related field.
At least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a higher education or vocational school setting.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A passion for education and helping students achieve their goals.
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in hiring, training, and managing staff.
